I'm a total beginner in playing musical instruments. But I know how important music is for young children. So being a homeschooling mom, I purchased the "Magic Flute" full course. Right from the start, I could make a pleasant sound on my recorder, that means that Jodie explains it so well in her program, that a beginner like me could get it right away and so fast. For example, she was great at explaining how to slur, which is when you blow two or more notes together in one stream of air. I got the course only a few weeks ago, and surprisingly, we already doing our music classes with my 4 children. My kids totally love it! They are ages: 10, 7, 4, and 1. I can already imagine how much new music we are going to have here, because she includes so much bonus material with so many songs to choose from, including songs for the festivals, seasons and holidays. Living Music From the Heart has been a very dear resource for our family for several years now. Its how I gained the passion and confidence to play myself, which enabled me to bring the delightful and sweet music of Jodie's albums, and many other songs and verses, to my children in their early years. And we have used it as a pennywhistle and pentatonic flute curriculum for my children the last two years, as well. It's been the Magic ingredient that allowed for us to have such a strong musical presence in our home, and has made for such an enchanting experience. We look forward to using the Magic Flute, revisiting old favorite songs and games, and embarking on a new adventure of rings and stones, elves and elements. We can't wait!
